Also from the Klein Matterhorn - this view is west towards Italy and Cervinia. It is possible to ski the beautiful 11 km (7 ml) run into Cervinia almost six months of the year! The 'Plateau Rosa' visible immediately below is part of Zermatt's year round skiing area. Twenty five kilometres of pistes are open all summer - which is the largest summer skiing area in the Alps.
